Paul Pogba from Manchester United is prepared to leave the English Premier League (EPL) side with a “in the process” transfer in the summer, says officer Mino Raiola from the French midfielder.
Pogba, who moved from Juventus to Manchester United in 2016 for an 89.3 million pound record fee at the time, created inconsistent displays. However, this was despite scoring 31 objectives in all contests in 142 appearances.
“From the director to the owner, that everybody in the club knows the wishes of Paul,” Raiola told the Times newspaper.
“Everyone understands Paul’s desire to move forward. We’re in that phase. Everybody understands what Paul’s emotions are.
British media have connected the 26-year-old winner of the World Cup with a move to Real Madrid, where he will link up with coach Zinedine Zidane or a return to the former Juventus club. Last month in Tokyo, Pogba proposed that now “it might be a nice time to have a fresh challenge elsewhere.” He is presently on a promotional trip in New York this week, with Manchester United set to fly out for a series of pre-season matches to Australia soon. Next week, the matches start. If Pogba was going to create the journey, Raiola did not confirm. “Nothing I can tell you. I’m living every day,” he added.
